Alicia F Bustamante

Alicia F Bustamante, una querida madre, abuela y bisabuela, falleció pacíficamente el 19 de febrero de 2025 en Nogales, Arizona, a la edad de 98 años. Nacida el 21 de junio de 1926 en Nogales, Sonora, Alicia vivió una vida rica en amor, creatividad y calidez, dejando atrás un hermoso legado tejido a través de su familia.

Alicia fue una mujer que realmente entendió la belleza de la vida. Dedicó sus días a cuidar tanto de sus queridas plantas como de sus adoradas mascotas, encarnando un espíritu de cuidado y afecto que irradiaba de ella. Encontró una inmensa alegría al pasar tiempo con su familia, creando recuerdos duraderos llenos de risas y bondad. Su naturaleza amorosa brilló a través de sus muchos talentos; Alicia no sólo era una cuidadora afectuosa sino también una hábil artesana. Abrazó las lecciones aprendidas de "la escuela de la vida", llenó su hogar de artesanías hechas a mano y deleitó a sus seres queridos con sus creaciones culinarias, incluidos los tamales elaborados en diciembre de 2024.

La personalidad de Alicia fue un testimonio de su espíritu perdurable. Conocida por su comportamiento amoroso y sentido del humor, le encantaba compartir historias que provocaban sonrisas y risas en quienes la rodeaban. Su entusiasmo por ayudar ejemplificó su corazón generoso, convirtiéndola en una figura querida dentro de su familia y comunidad.

Deja atrás una devota familia que incluye a sus hijos: Jesús Manuel Bustamante Figueroa, Humberto Bustamante Figueroa, Rogelio Bustamante Figueroa, Miguel Bustamante Figueroa, Marco Antonio Bustamante Figueroa y sus hijas: Elsa Bustamante Figueroa, María Aide Bustamante Figueroa, Norma Alicia Bustamante Figueroa, María Teresa Bustamante Figueroa y Lilia Raquel Bustamante Figueroa. A Alicia también le sobrevive su querida hermana Francisca, junto con una gran cantidad de nietos, bisnietos y tataranietos, todos los cuales llevan adelante su legado de amor.

A Alicia le precedieron en la muerte su amado esposo, Martín Bustamante; sus hijos Martín Alfonso Bustamante Figueroa y Francisco Javier Bustamante Figueroa; sus hijas Irma Emma Bustamante Figueroa y Josefina Bustamante Figueroa; sus hermanos Rogelio y Alfonso; su hermana Emma; y sus queridos padres, María Teresa y Jesús Figueroa.

Al despedirnos de Alicia, celebramos una vida que fue un mosaico de amor, creatividad y afecto eterno. Su espíritu habitará para siempre en los corazones de todos los que la conocieron y sus historias se compartirán con las generaciones venideras. La extrañaremos muchísimo, pero su legado de amor seguirá inspirando y guiando a su familia mientras llevan adelante su memoria.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el 26 de febrero de 2025, de 5:00 p. m. a 9:00 p. m. en Martinez Funeral Chapels - Nogales, seguida de un Servicio de Oración esa noche de 7:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m. en el mismo lugar.  Se llevará a cabo una Misa el 27 de febrero de 2025 a las 3:00 p. m. en la Parroquia San Felipe de Jesús. Alicia F Bustamante, a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2025, in Nogales, Arizona, at the age of 98. Born on June 21, 1926, in Nogales, Sonora, Alicia lived a life rich in love, creativity, and warmth, leaving behind a beautiful legacy woven through her family.

Alicia was a woman who truly understood the beauty of life. She dedicated her days to nurturing both her beloved plants and her adored pets, embodying a spirit of care and affection that radiated from her. She found immense joy in spending time with her family, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and kindness. Her loving nature shone brightly through her many talents; Alicia was not only an affectionate caregiver but also a skilled artisan. She embraced the lessons learned from "la escuela de la vida," filled her home with handmade crafts, and delighted her loved ones with her culinary creations, including tamales made in December 2024.

Alicia's personality was a testament to her enduring spirit. Known for her loving demeanor and sense of humor, she cherished sharing stories that brought smiles and laughter to those around her. Her eagerness to lend a helping hand exemplified her generous heart, making her a beloved figure within her family and community.

She leaves behind a devoted family that includes her sons: Jesus Manuel Bustamante Figueroa, Humberto Bustamante Figueroa, Rogelio Bustamante Figueroa, Miguel Bustamante Figueroa, Marco Antonio Bustamante Figueroa, and her daughters: Elsa Bustamante Figueroa, Maria Aide Bustamante Figueroa, Norma Alicia Bustamante Figueroa, Maria Teresa Bustamante Figueroa, and Lilia Raquel Bustamante Figueroa. Alicia is also survived by her dear sister Francisca, along with a plethora of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her legacy of love.

Alicia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Martin Bustamante; her sons Martin Alfonso Bustamante Figueroa and Francisco Javier Bustamante Figueroa; her daughters Irma Emma Bustamante Figueroa and Josefina Bustamante Figueroa; her brothers Rogelio and Alfonso; her sister Emma; and her cherished parents, Maria Teresa and Jesus Figueroa.

As we bid farewell to Alicia, we celebrate a life that was a mosaic of love, creativity, and undying affection. Her spirit will forever dwell in the hearts of all who knew her, and her stories will be shared for generations to come. She will be dearly missed, but her legacy of love will continue to inspire and guide her family as they carry her memory forward.

Visitation will be held on February 26, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Martinez Funeral Chapels - Nogales, followed by a Prayer Service that evening from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on February 27, 2025, at 3:00 PM at San Felipe de Jesus Parish. Let us come together to honor and celebrate the remarkable life of Alicia F Bustamante.
