Alicia Carrizosa Cruz

Alicia Carrizosa Cruz, 94, of Tucson has passed away. She was born in Culiacan, Sinaloa, immigrating to Tucson at the young age of 16. She is survived by her loving husband; Jose G. Cruz, Sr., having been married over 73 years. She was preceded in death by her daughter Cecilia Almeida (Alex). She is survived and loved by her daughter Laura Cruz-Miles (Tony) and son Deacon Joe G. Cruz, Jr. (Anna-Marie); grandchildren Laura Curtis (Eric), Christina Almeida, Joseph Wilson (Deborah), Lisa Ureste (Juan), Ceci Wilson, Maria-Alicia Figueroa (Henry) and Joe G. Cruz, III; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Her Funeral Mass, celebrated by Father Showri Narra, is January 2, 2021, 10 a.m., St. Augustine Cathedral, following rosary at 9:30 a.m. Her Interment will be January 4, 2021, 11 a.m., Holy Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Casa Maria Soup Kitchen, in her honor, would be much appreciated.
