Amanda Islava

Amanda Islava, 67, departed this earthly life on Monday, September 30th. Her final days and hours were spent in the presence, comfort, and love of her family. She is survived by her sons, Francisco Javier Islava Jr (Sandra Mendoza), Alberto Islava, and Raul Islava (Nadia Gil), as well has his daughters, Liliana Webb (Jason) and Alicia Islava (Jesús Garcia Jr.); her sisters Irma Lopez, Maria Elena Coronado, Delia Escudero and brother Roberto Rodríguez and lastly by her 10 grandchildren: Marlene Ozuna, Aidan Islava, Kendra Islava, Kayla Islava, Kaylee Islava, Adrian Islava, Isaac Webb, Jesus Garcia III and Carlos Castelan. 

Amanda's life was defined by her love and devotion to her husband, children and grandchildren. Throughout her 43 year marriage to Francisco J Islava they shared a bond that truly made them stronger when they were together. She was a great cook and was always quick with a plate. She was easy going with a lighthearted personality. Smiles and laughter came easy to her. She could often be found knitting or crocheting blankets, but her favorite pastime was playing video games.
