Armando A. Alvarez, a beloved family man and cherished soul, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2025, in Nogales, Arizona. He was born on May 29, 1944, and lived a life rich with love, laughter, and musical passion that touched the hearts of everyone lucky enough to know him.

Armando was known for his caring and loving nature, characteristics that made him not just a father and grandfather but a friend to many. He had an unparalleled ability to bring joy into the lives of those around him with his vibrant personality. His humor and outgoing spirit lit up every room, leaving a lasting impression on friends and family alike.

A proud family man, his greatest accomplishments were his wife, Angelita Alvarez, and their three children: Armando, Fernando, and Euridice Alvarez. He took immense pride in being a devoted grandfather to Evelyn Alvarez, Eduardo Zepeda, Edgar Zepeda, Armando Alvarez, Priscilla Alvarez, Sophie Alvarez, Casey Alvarez, and Kevin Alvarez, all of whom held a special place in his heart.

Armando's enthusiasm for music was one of the defining aspects of his life. He was passionate about various genres, with a particular fondness for classical, orchestra, and opera. His collection of music records was a testament to his love for this art form, filling his home with melodies that resonated through the years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dolores A. Alvarez and Armando A. Alvarez, who undoubtedly lived on through him and his loving family.

Visitation will be held at Martinez Funeral Chapels in Nogales, AZ, on April 25, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM, followed by a Rosary at noon. A Mass will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 2:00 PM. The family invites all who knew and loved Armando to join them in celebrating his extraordinary life.
