Armando Z. "Papa Ni" Arias, was reunited with his wife, Ramona of 63 years when he went home to Heaven on January 11, 2020 in Tucson, Arizona. Born on October 26, 1932, in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico. Armando is survived by his son Armando Arias (Martha); daughters, Elba Orozco (Fernando), Gloria Arias, Rafaela Crockwell (Jaime), and Blanca Arias; sisters, Lucina Camacho, Bertha Lujan and Esperanza Arias, He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Armando was preceded in death by his parents, Petra and Benito Arias; sons Francisco and Benito Arias; daughters, Martina and Lupita Arias; grandson, Armando O. Arias; brothers, Roberto Arias, Emilio Arias, Carlos Arias, Javier Arias, and Ruben Arias; sister, Martha Lujan. Armando enjoyed selling fruit on the side of the road after he retired as a laborer and butcher. He was an avid baseball fan and followed the Arizona Diamondbacks every season. Armando will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Papa Ni lo queremos mucho y lo vamos a extrañar. The memories we shared will continue to live in the hearts of all he touched.
