Armando Raul Rodriguez, 19 of Tucson, AZ, was called home and earned his wings on April 18, 2022. Armando was born on September 23, 2002 to his parents Melissa L. Castel De Oro and Armando S. Rodriguez. He graced all who knew him with his beautiful kinder spirit, big smile, contagious laugh and his loving and forgiving heart. He had an unwavering drive to succeed in everything he did and his relentless determination gave him the ability to overcome any obstacles that were presented before him.

Mando had an immense love and passion for music, skateboarding, fishing, hiking, his family, and the Lord. He found peace and joy in sharing his love for God and sharing the testimony of his journey with others in the hopes that he could inspire at least one person to seek the lord not only in during trials and tribulations but every day. Armando knew that “With man it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:16-26.

He is survived by his loving mother, his father and his fourbrothers Jason Jr and Jordan A. Mercado, Tayten T. andTraycen T. Jorgensen.

Mother’s family: grandmother Debra J. Betancourt, aunt Stephine D. Rodriguez, uncles Mark A. Castel De Oro and Jose S. Rodriguez; cousins Jacob I. and Humberto C. Gherna, Jovanni N. Mercado, Aliana N., Isabella A. and Sophia A.Rodriguez; his goddaughter Amri Grace Gherna;

Father’s Family: uncles Mickey (Sofia) Rodriguez, Arthur (Lisa) Martinez, aunts Tonya (Mario) Martinez, Joanne Martinez; cousins Victoria and Emilio Rodriguez, Stephanieand Corina Escalante, Nisa, Cynthia and AJ Martinez, Kayla and Rashad Martinez.

He is preceded in death by his great grandparents Andres and Betty Betancourt, Norbert and Mary Castel De Oro;grandfather’s Michael A. Castel De Oro and Len E. Amons; uncle Paul A. Castel De Oro and several great uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.  

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, April 25, 2022, at The Door Christian Fellowship, 2950 E. Irvington Road, Tucson, Arizona 85714.
