It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Aurelia "Artie" Castaneda aka "Micha", who was born on March 31, 1936, in Helvitia, Arizona, and peacefully left this world on July 1, 2023. Surrounded by love and cherished memories. She lived a remarkable life filled with joy, laughter, and an abundance of love.
Aurelia leaves behind a legacy woven with love, empathy, and resiliency. She is survived by her loving children, Helda (Ernesto), Albert (Ann), Beatrice, Arthur (Maryhelen), Johnny (Suzanne), Dean (Natalie), Annette (Robert), numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, siblings, and a multitude of cherished relatives and friends. While we mourn her loss, let us also celebrate the incredible life she lived and the positive impact she had on those around her.
Aurelia was a woman of integrity, warmth, and kindness. Artie had a way of making everyone around her feel valued and loved, and her presence will be deeply missed by all.
Artie dedicated her life to caring for others, working as a compassionate caregiver. She touched on the lives of countless individuals and families, providing comfort and support during their times of need. Her kindness and nurturing nature made her an exceptional caregiver, earning the gratitude and respect of all those she cared for.
Her unwavering faith was a guiding light throughout her life. Aurelia's spiritual journey brought her peace and gave her strength in times of adversity. She was a pillar of support for those in need and offered comforting words of wisdom, always encouraging others to believe in their own potential.
While Aurelia's physical presence may no longer be with us, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched. Her memory will be carried on by her children and the countless lives she positively impacted during her time with us. The loss of Aurelia is deeply felt, and her absence will create a void that cannot be filled. She will be remembered as a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many and left behind a legacy of love and compassion, her selflessness will continue to inspire and guide us as we navigate life without her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
