A pioneer woman is a women who begins or helps develop something new and prepares the way for others to follow, being one of the first of its kind. That’s who our Momma was! A Tucson Native for 69 years born on July 1, 1951. She was the only daughter of 7 children to Filiberto and Maria Louisa Castillo. She was a loving, caring, devoted daughter, sister, mother and nana. Momma was a selfless woman always thinking of others. She was our family’s greatest examples of a pioneer woman and the rock of our family. A beautiful soul full of life and unconditional love, she is the queen of our hearts. God blessed us with a strong independent mother who survived by her 8 children: Brijida, Daniel, Teresa, Linda, Richard, Victoria, Fernando, Delia, her adopted grandson Fabian; 27 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and her 2 brothers Peter and Tommy. As life changed and time passed Momma always remained making sure everyone was taken care of and for that we are eternally grateful. Our pioneer woman is the everlasting flame burning in our hearts as she walks victorious in heavenly places. Your legacy will live on through each of us with every precious memory made with you, Momma until we are together again we will love you always and miss you forever.
