Carlos Manuel Gutierrez

On Saturday, August 3rd, 2019, Carlos Manuel Gutierrez, a loving Son, brother, uncle and father of two children, passed away at the early age of 42 in Tucson, AZ. Carlos was born on August 21st, 1976 in Tucson, Arizona to Guadalupe Valdez and Manuel Gutierrez. He was a Tucson native and a proud Tucson high school Badger. He had two loving children Carlos Josue and Genesis Rosbet Gutierrez Torres. His family knew him as a kind and funny family man who enjoyed his many get togethers and cooking for his friends and family. He always loved to make people laugh and have a good time. He was a great uncle who played an important father figure to his nephews and Niece. He had a deep bonding relationship with his mother and his one and only sister. He will always be remembered for his infectious smile! 

Carlos is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Felipe Valdez and Josephine Valdez Fontes, his paternal grandparents Manuel Gutierrez Cubillas and Margarita Cubillas Grijalva.  He is survived by his parents: Guadalupe Valdez Tafoya and father Manuel Gutierrez Cubillas. He is survived by his children: Josue, Genesis and their mother. His sister: Magda V. Gutierrez; Niece: Cristall Gutierrez (Elias and Neveah); Nephews Jose Arnold and Adrian Carpio Gutierrez; and his girlfriend Maria.

A funeral service will be held on Friday August 9th, 2019 at Martinez Funeral on 2580 S. 6th Avenue from 2pm to 5pm Donations and special considerations are greatly appreciated. They may be dropped off on Friday or sent to 1500 S 9th Avenue Tucson, Az. 85713
