Carlos Islava-Ruiz
September 4, 1962 — October 23, 2021
Carlos Islava-Ruiz passed on October 23rd at the age of 59 after his 3 year battle with cancer.
Preceded in death by parents Carlos and Aurora Yslava.
He is survived by his wife Alma, and his children Cassandra, Leticia, and Michael Yslava. Grandchildren, Landyn, Aleena, Logan, and Luke. Brothers Luis and Gilbert, Sisters Josie, Brenda, and Sandra.
He spent 18 years of his life working at Holmes Tuttle Ford. Carlos was proud to be a part of the FORD Family. He dedicated many years to helping young athletes as a football coach for the Southwest Rams. Carlos enjoyed teaching the youth about his favorite pastime and being involved in the community.
He will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving, caring, and hard-working “champion”.
The family would like to thank you for your prayers and support during this time. Your shared memories, comforting condolences, and gestures of love.
