Carlos Thomas Parra, affectionately known by many as "Chucky", went home to be with the Lord in Heaven on March 25, 2018 in Nogales, Arizona. He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Vanessa Morales Parra; his parents, Carlos Parra Jr (Maria) and Hercilia Lopez (Marco); brothers, Mark W. Parra and Carlos Francisco Parra; sisters, Jennifer A. Jaime (Henry) and Krystal A. Frangos Parra (Joseph); nephews, Christopher Jaime and Nicholas Jaime; nieces, Samantha Jaime, Cielo Arochi, Ximena Arochi, Valeria Morales, Melody Morales and Madeline Frangos; uncles, Sergio Parra (Elsa) and Norman Heredia; aunts, Terry Hickman and Patricia Heredia and grandmother, Josephine Heredia. Anyone that had the pleasure of knowing Chucky would agree that he was always full of life. He had a fantastic sense of humor and enjoyed socializing with everyone. Strangers became friends because he was a people-person and a social butterfly. Chucky was a Fire Captain at the Nogales Suburban Fire District where he worked for 27 years-many of those years alongside his father. He loved to travel and two of his favorite places to go were Disneyland and Sea World. He also leaves behind his beloved pet chihuahua, "Bam Bam." Chucky enjoyed football and cheering for the Oakland Raiders. It is now very apparent to us how many lives he touched in his short life because of the immense outpour of condolences from so many people. He will truly be missed dearly by all those hearts he touched.
