Carmen Maria Hubbard

Carmen Hubbard, 69, born August 17th, 1955, in Tucson Arizona, was a beloved Wife, Mother, Nana, Great-Grandmother, Tia and Godmother. She entered eternal rest after a courageous battle with cancer, at home surrounded by family, on September 20th, 2024. Preceded in death by her beloved parents, Jesus & Micaela Martinez and her cherished son, Freddy Hubbard.

She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Fredrick Hubbard; son, Kevin (Crystal); and daughter, Nicole. Siblings: Tony, Ramon (Patsy), Joey, Micheal (Lisa), Lola (Richard), Grace, Gloria (Ray), Marie (Paco), and Anna (Rick). Carmen’s pride and joy were her grandchildren: Alex, Alyssa, Karina (Christian), Alyssa, Evin, Freddie, Jayden, Clifton and Nicolas. Her newest love, great-granddaughter Ariyah, including many nieces and nephews. 

Carmen was a pillar of strength, inspiring everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She lived a life full of love, resilience, and determination. Her adventurous spirit for traveling is one example of her deep appreciation for the beauty in life. Her most treasured destinations were the beach, enjoying the ocean breeze and the beautiful landscapes of Sedona, Arizona. She was a woman of unwavering strength, who faced life’s toughest challenges with grace and taught those around her to never give up. She demonstrated the importance of family and to always enjoy the simple things in life. Carmen will be deeply missed, and her memory of strength and love will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
