As a mother, Catalina's heart knew no bounds. She is survived by her devoted sons: Jesus Francisco, Lorenzo Jr, Eduardo, Fernando, Ramon, and Ruben, as well as her loving daughters: Martha, Alma Rosa, Esperanza, and Claudia. Her enduring love can be felt in the lives of her 31 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren, all of whom hold pieces of her spirit within them. Each child carries forward her legacy, embodying the kindness and strength she so fiercely instilled in them.

While Catalina's parents have passed on, they undoubtedly guided her with love from above, nurturing the same values and traditions that she passed down to her own family. Their spirit lives on through the countless stories and memories shared by her descendants, ensuring that her influence endures through the generations.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Catalina’s life, beginning with a visitation at Martinez Funeral Chapels in Nogales, Arizona, on October 3, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 1:30 PM. A Mass in her honor will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, starting at 2:00 PM and concluding at 3:00 PM.

As we gather to honor Catalina Duarte, we will hold tightly to the memories of her joyous spirit, her unwavering love, and her unshakeable strength. Catalina Duarte, una querida matriarca, nació el 25 de noviembre de 1932 en Ures Sonora y partió de esta vida el 29 de septiembre de 2024 en Río Rico, Arizona. Ella era un espíritu radiante cuya risa resonó en los corazones de su familia, dejando atrás un legado de amor y recuerdos preciados.

Familiares y amigos están invitados a celebrar la vida de Catalina, comenzando con un velorio en Martinez Funeral Chapels en Nogales, Arizona, el 3 de octubre de 2024, de 10:00 a.m. metro. a las 13:30 horas. metro.
