Catherine Norzagaray Montaño

Catherine N. (Nana Queso) Montaño at the age of 62 gained her wings in the early hours on August 10, 2024 with her loved ones by her side.

Born on February 2nd, 1962 in Tucson Arizona she was a beloved Wife, Mother, Nana, Sister,  and Godmother who fought consistently in her battle against cancer until her final moments. She is the youngest cherished daughter of 15 kids to parents David and Guadalupe Norzagaray who instilled great values that would guide her to who she became.

She is survived by her eternal love and husband of 44yrs Robert S. Montaño. They grew a great caring family of 6 children; (Stephanie, Christine(Kenny), Robbie, Maria, Denise & Michael), grandchildren; Baby Angel, Joseph (Aaliyah), Aritza, Robert, Tatianya, Aaliyah, Kendric, Destiney, Daniel, Brianna, Jordan, Mason and Cianna, great grandchildren; Jaliyah, Joseph, Mila and Julianah,  and 3 dogs (that included her favorite dog Scrappy).

Throughout her life, Catherine was a beacon of compassion and empathy touching the hearts of everyone she encountered. She approached everyday with resilience and an outgoing spirit that would inspire those around her. She will be missed greatly and her spirit will forever remain a vibrant part of those who knew and loved her.
