Cecilia Marlene Tautimer, 65, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away last Friday night, February 1, 2019, due to long-term complications from heart surgery in 2012. Although she had been sick for some time, it was sudden for her immediate family, her caregivers. Marlene was born on December 10, 1953, the youngest of four siblings. She is survived by her daughter; Tisa, son; Brandon and mother; Amanda, who just celebrated her 100th birthday. Although Marlene had her children very early in life, she lived for her kids and would do anything for them. She often joked that she always drove them around during their teenager years. She was a waitress for most her life before changing to a grocery cashier. In both occupations, she honestly had a loyal following of customers who would make an effort to see her often. She was known for her sparkling and joyous personality. Indeed, if you ever wanted to share good news, you shared it with Marlene first. She made you feel special, no matter who you were. She is also remembered for her fondness and love of dogs and she cared for several through out her lifetime. She will be sorely missed by her children, grandchildren and her long-time best friend; James Crawford. We love you forever, Marlene. May you always be happy in the after-life in which you believe.
