Clarissa Ivette Bermudez, a radiant soul born on March 21, 1977, in Nogales, Arizona, left this world January 17, 2025, enveloped in the warmth of her beloved hometown. A life full of joy and boundless enthusiasm, Clarissa stood as a beacon of light, forever cherished by all who had the privilege to know her.

Celebration was not merely an event in Clarissa's life; it was the very essence of her being. From the tender moment she blew out the candles on her birthday cake, the planning for her next celebration would commence with gleeful anticipation. She was a connoisseur of birthdays, a keeper of dates who remembered, with unwavering precision, the birthdays of everyone around her. This gift brought immeasurable joy to her network of family and friends, as she made sure no one forgotten felt less than cherished.

Her personality was as vibrant as the colors of her freshly painted nails, a pastime she reveled in perhaps just as much as her affinity for singing her favorite song "Como la flor" and dancing. Clarissa's laughter echoed with enthusiasm, possessing a musicality that twinkled like the stars she admired, while her smile could illuminate even the darkest room. She found refuge in her journals, a treasure trove of thoughts and reflections, each entry serving as a testament to her journey. As of late, Clarissa had embraced the art of canvas painting, where she too mastered the strokes of creativity, adding yet another layer to her rich and expressive spirit.

Her proudest accomplishments shone brightly in her heart, particularly her certificates of achievement from Soundercare Behavioral Health, one for most improvement and another for great participation. They stood as proud symbols of her determination and growth, a testament to her remarkable strength and resolve.

Clarissa is survived by her loving parents, Alberto and Teresa Bermudez; her brother, Albert Bermudez; sisters, Elisa Bermudez and Carmen Checa (Oscar); along with her adoring nieces, nephews, Aunt Connie, and numerous cousins. Each of them will forever hold dear the memories crafted by her laughter, her creative spirit, and her unwavering love.

Visitation will be held at Martinez Funeral Chapels in Nogales on January 23, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, followed by a Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on January 24, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM. Clarissa will find her final resting place at Nogales Cemetery following her burial, which will take place at 11:30 AM on the same day.
