Connie G. Villa

Connie Gamez Villa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She passed away with her loved ones by her side on August 22,2021 at the age of 77. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Eleanor Gamez and father and mother in law Jose and Maria Villa. Her brother Joe Gamez, sons Mark and Louie Villa. Connie is survived by her husband of 60 years Refugio(Roy) Villa, sister Rita (Larry) Ruh, daughter Elanor/David Subia. Daughter in Law Krystal Villa-Bordieu. Grandkids, Carmen (Jacob) Lancaster, and Robert (Corina) Ellison and Olivia and Garrett Villa. Great grandkids Shelby and Anthony Lopez, Gabriel Lancaster, and Andrea and Sophia Ellison. And many step grandkids, nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog Tiny. Connie loved to go to the horse races to see her son Mark race and to see her great grandkids play sports. She was known as "Big mama" to all those that loved her. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 2nd, from 8:00 am to 9:15 am at Martinez Funeral Chapels. Mass will be held at 10:00 am at St. Cyril on Swan and Pima (4725 E. Pima). She will be laid to rest at Old Fort Lowell Cemetery (4425 E. Fort Lowell Rd).  Luncheon will be held at noon at El Molinito, 2323 N. Pantanto Road.
