Daniel L. Dorothy

Daniel Lawrence Dorothy passed away on January 2,2022. He was born to the late Richard Dorothy and Marilyn Downey in Los Angeles,CA on May 27,1967. he graduated high school in Greece and later started a 29 plus year career with Fry's ( The Kroger Co.) where he achieved the position of assistant manager.

Daniel married Annette Mendibles on September 23,1995 in Tucson,Az. Daniel helped raise their son Daniel and Christina with love, commitment and presence. He was a wonderful role model to all the young people that came through his home throughout the years. He was a father figure to those who did not have one and opened his home to them when they were in need. He loved all those important to him with great devotion and committed loyalty.

Daniel was a boisterous, fun-loving man. He loved his Pittsburg Steelers; he loved his steak and most importantly he loved his family. Daniel loved nature and fishing, and in recent years spent time enjoying his family and the outdoors at their cabin in Pinetop. His loving presence, his twinkling blue eyes, and his happy demeanor will forever be missed by all that knew him.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Annette; his son Daniel Paul; his daughter Christina (Kiki); his adopted children Darius and Demetrius, grandchild Marceline Steward and nephew William; his brothers Richard Dorothy and Michael Heisig, and step-father Pete Heisig.
