Darlene "Darla" R Ramirez

RAMIREZ, Darlene "Darla" was born February 4, 1956, in Los Lunas New Mexico. After a year-long fight against colorectal cancer, she gained her angel wings while surrounded by family and friends October 28, 2017. She moved to Tucson at a young age where she pursued hairdressing and serving the public through financial institutions. As a devoted wife of 33 years and mother of three, she never lost sight of family, friends and those in need. From open arms to an open door, she gave all she had to put others before herself. She touched the lives of many and showed us what it is to serve God. She is survived by her best friend and husband Charlie Ramirez; parents Ambrosio and Lucy Jaramillo; son Joseph(Corrina); daughter's Jennifer and Sarah; grandchildren Darien Phipps, Amaya Montaño, Aaleyah Rasul and “best friend” little Monroe Phipps; brother’s Gilbert (Mary), Mark(Pat), Gene, Shawn (Mayra); Sister's Sharon Valencia (Micheal) and Bertha Spear (Dale). She is preceded in death by brother Jacob. Services will be held Friday, November 3, 2017. Rosary 12:00 pm, Mass 12:30 pm at Our Lady of Fatima, 1950 Irvington Pl, Tucson Az 85746. Burial to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
