David Gomez, Jr.

David Gomez Jr. born in Morenci, AZ age 66 passed away at his home in Tucson, AZ on August 22 from a long illness with his brother Al and his beloved Cissy at his side. He is proceeded by his mother Ida Soto and father David Gomez. He left behind his partner, love of his life, Cissy Gutierrez. Sisters: Lucinda Madaringe and Deanna Ruiz. Brother's: Raul Gomez, Adolfo Gomez, Sammy Gomez and Jose Soto. One daughter: Monica Trosclair, son in law: Adam Trosclair. Two grandsons: Landon and Lawson Trosclair. And many beloved friends and family.

David was a veteran and was a parachuter in the Army. He dropped out of high school to enlist in the Army on December 20th of 1973. He wanted to go to Vietnam and fight for his country, but thankfully God had other plans for him and he didn't have to go to Vietnam after all, instead he went to Europe. Lucky guy.  His passion was riding his Harley. He loved hanging out with friends, family, listening to his favorite music and especially dancing.

We would love for you to come and honor his life at Martinez Funeral Home for a viewing and a mass at Santa Cruz Church following with a reception at Saguaro Post 68 in Tucson. A cremation ceremony will be at a later date in Morenci, AZ.

He will be truly missed. RIP our beloved David. ߙϢݤ️
