Debra Ann Jurado "formerly known as Sister Guadalupe"
December 11, 1955 — April 19, 2023
Debra Ann Jurado, formerly known as Sister Guadalupe, went to our Lord and Savior on April 19, 2023. She is survived by her mother, Luciana Jurado; siblings, Antonio Jurado, Jr., Teresa Barela, Benjamin Jurado (Denise) and Enrique Jurado and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Antonio Jurado, Sr., her brother, Dennis Jurado and sister, Olga Jurado. In 1977 she entered the congregation of the Dominican Sisters of Oakford. She then joined the Diocese of Tucson in 2004 and ministered to the communities of Patagonia at St. Theresa Catholic Church and Rio Rico with Most Holy Nativity Catholic Church until her retirement in June of 2018.
