Donald Lee Smith

Donald Lee Smith SR. was born on December 27, 1948, to James Chester and Iree Smith, in Tucson Arizona.  Donald went to Tucson Magnet High School and was known for playing football and baseball. He graduated in 1968. He then joined the Army and served the country for 13 months.  He work for the City of Tucson as a street worker for 25 years. He also was a delivery driver for many years.  His pastime hobbies were working on his 69 Chevy or walking around his yard looking for something to do. He had a green thumb for growing different vegetables. You would catch him planting something new for every season. Donald leaves to mourn his children; Donald Lee Smith Jr. of Aurora CO, Nakeisha Tashawn Smith of Tucson AZ, Ebonie Shantan Smith of Tucson, AZ and Calvin Henry of Vail, AZ; siiblings, James Otis Smith of Tucson, AZ, Charlie Evans of Phoenix AZ,
Mitchell Lewis Smith of Surprise, AZ, Vicki Lynn Sharp of Aurora, CO, Brenda Sherryl Nelson of Tucson, AZ, Glenda Denise Hackworth of Phoenix, AZ, Jeffery Wayne Smith of Tucson, AZ, and Richard Dale Smith of Tucson, AZ and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and
many, many friends.  Donald is preceded in death by wife, Patricia Ann Smith, daughter, Yvette M. Jones, mother, Iree Smith and father, James C. Smith.
