Edna Medellin

Edna went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 6 2020.  She is survived by her loving husband, Jose Gomez; sons, Daniel Yubeta and Carlos Medellin; daughters, Angelika Ortiz and Karla Romero; sisters, Alejandrina Garcia and Yoland Urrea. 11 Grandchildren: Cynthia, Daniel, Ruben, Andres, Stephany, Ashley, Chelsea, Raquel, Savannah, Miles and Rene. 13 Great-grandchildren: Anneliese, Lailani, Audie, Carlos III, Manuel, Emily, Leigha, Emma, Emiliano, Paulina, Nicolas, Olivia and Luna. Preceded in death by her grandson Damien. She will be truly missed by everyone whose hearts she touched.  Edna was such a tenacious lady that faced every obstacle presented to her in life with courage and strength.  Although she had no formal education, she persevered and became a teacher's assistant.  Her faith in God was very strong and she attended mass regularly.  Always willing to lend a helping hand to the point of sometimes overextending herself.  A loving and kind soul that will never be forgotten.
