Edna had a way of making ALL her family feel special and was there for all her loved ones when they needed her. She never complained or made you feel bad for any of your shortcomings or mistakes. Instead she was there to listen and support her family in daily life. She freely gave her assistance and unconditional love. Edna had a large family, so you can imagine life in her home when they were young. She made being a wife, mother and grandmother look easy, but as we all know, it's not always an easy job. Furthermore, if you spoke with Edna you would only hear about the good things in her life and how proud she was of her family. Edna enjoyed traveling, playing poker and had a mild Candy Crush addiction, watching Lifetime movies, knitting, cooking for her family (she was famous for her banana pudding and pineapple upside down cake), country music, spending time with her family, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and ice cold Pepsi! It made us all sad we weren't able to give her that last Pepsi she asked for at the hospital.
Everyone that knew Edna would comment on her cheerful demeanor and how much they enjoyed her company and friendship. It gives us comfort that she is now in paradise with our Heavenly Father, family and friends. We pray we're reunited someday and thank God we were fortunate to have her in our lives as long as we did. She will be dearly missed.
