Born in the picturesque city of Nogales, Arizona on August 24, 1975, Elisa was a true child of the desert. Elisa's happiest moments were spent there with her loved ones by her side.
Elisa's adventurous nature inspired her to explore all that life had to offer. With one foot always out the door, she embarked on countless journeys with her children and grandchildren by her side. Whether it was exploring new destinations or creating cherished memories closer to home, Elisa's zest for life was contagious. Her love for travel and being one with nature shaped not only her own experiences but also those around her.

Her children Nery Gonzalez, Giselle Manzanares Gonzalez, and Yvette Gonzalez were the center of her universe, and she beamed with joy watching them grow into remarkable individuals. In addition to her loving family, Elisa leaves behind cherished memories in the hearts of her husband Felipe Gonzalez, parents Jorge A Huerta and Bertha G Huerta, brothers Jorge A Huerta and Ramiro Huerta, sister Zulema Rodriguez, maternal grandparents Matilda Martinez and Porfirio A Rodriguez, paternal grandparents Blanca Romero and Antonio Huerta, and a multitude of friends whose lives she deeply touched.
