Elsa Plantillas Elenes

Elsa Plantillas Elenes, age 61, was called to heaven on December 26, 2020. She was born on October 31, 1959 in Tucson, AZ. She married Guadalupe Villagrana Bojorquez ( El Payo) on November 13, 1985 who proceeded her in death in 1994, Elsa and Payo are now reunited and dancing together in Heaven. Before becoming permanently disabled from Rheumatoid Arthritis at the age of 21, our beloved Elsa enjoyed her work as a cook at the Hughes cafeteria, which is now known as Raytheon. Elsa was a bright light that loved cooking, dancing and singing, attending concerts, especially Ruben Ramos concerts, playing bingo, watching ID channel and old cowboy movies and her favorite food was flat enchiladas with extra lettuce and eating at el Pico de Gallo. Elsa is survived and will be greatly missed by her daughters Veronica Castro, Luzdenise and husband Victor Lopez, her grandchildren Brandy Jolie Castro, Victor Rogelio Guadalupe Lopez (Guero),  Ricardo Rey Lopez, Diego Misahael Lopez, her sister Sylvia and husband Francisco Villegas, brother Raul Elenes and her cat Maximus. Elsa will be reuniting in Heaven with her mother Teofila Ronquillo, father Joseph Elenes, sister Evangelina Cortez, brothers Oscar Elenes and Jorge Cortez. Please join us for her Memorial services on January 8, 2021 between 3:00pm-5:00pm, Rosary begins at 4:00pm at Martinez Funeral Chapels, 2580 S. 6th Avenue Tucson, AZ 85713. Also during this pandemic, please be considerate of others and yourself and please wear a face mask during attendance, thank you.
