Elsa Guadalupe Lopez

Elsa Guadalupe Lopez, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on October 30, 2023, in Rio Rico, Arizona. She was born on April 9, 1952, in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico. Elsa's vibrant personality and warm heart brought so much joy and happiness to everyone around her.

Elsa's life was filled with love and compassion. She had a magnetic presence that would light up any room she entered. Her charisma and welcoming nature made her a beautiful person inside and out. It was impossible not to be captivated by her infectious laughter and genuine kindness.

Family was at the center of Elsa's world. She adored her late husband Sergio D. Lopez and cherished the time they spent together. Elsa was also preceded in death by her parents Jorge Estrella and Graciela Estrella.

Elsa leaves behind a legacy of love through her surviving family members. She is survived by her sons Aurelio Lopez and Sergio Lopez Jr., daughter Maria E. Meza, brothers Jorge Estrella, Francisco Estrella, Roberto Estrella, Fernando Estrella; sisters Graciela Estrella, Marisela Estrella, Cristina Estrella; grandchildren Jaqueline, Jose, Sergio Jr., Angel, Yaretzi, Ayden; and great-grandchild Nayomi Felix.

To honor Elsa's memory and celebrate her incredible life, services will be held at Martinez Funeral Chapels - Nogales located at 891 W Mariposa Rd in Nogales on November 6th. The visitation will begin at 5:00 PM followed by a rosary at 7:00 PM. On November 7th at noon at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Nogales located at 272 N Rodriguez St there will be a Mass to commemorate Elsa's legacy.

Elsa Guadalupe Lopez will forever be remembered for her unwavering love, joyful spirit, and the light she brought into the lives of those who knew her. She touched the hearts of many with her kindness and left an indelible mark on this world. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her family and friends find solace in the beautiful memories they shared with her.
