Elvira D. Sanchez

Elvira D. Sanchez, age 73, passed away at her Tucson home Friday 01/10/2020. She was born 02/08/1946 in Durango, Chihuahua Mexico. She is preceded in death by her parents Francisco and Francisca Diaz, her brother’s Bonifacio Alvarez and Ildelfoncio Alvarez and by her son Arturo Sanchez. 

Elvira is survived by her husband of 55 years Ladislado (Lalo) Sanchez, her daughter’s Irma Tellez (Jaime), Marisela Ortega (Julio Cesar), Arturo’s partner Diana Ortega, grandchildren Anthony (Vanessa), Danny, Ceasar, Briana, Jada, Melissa (Abie), Joanna (Chris), Jaime Jr., Arturo, Frankie, Leo, Karina, Anabel and 14 great grandchildren. Also survived by her sister’s Hortencia Herrera, Isabel Verdugo; brother’s Daniel Romero, Genaro Bueno, Angel Bueno, Bernardo Bueno and Lucio Alvarez. 

Family and friends were Elvira’s passion and delight, always making sure everyone was okay. She was always a very happy woman. She loved to take walks with her husband Ladislado. She loved family gatherings, music, singing and dancing, especially with her grandson Anthony whom lovingly cared for her alongside his fiancé Vanessa. The family gives them and everyone else, including the nurses from Traditions Health Myra, Tessa and tech Carrie who made Elvira laugh and liked to dance with who cared for Elvira, their greatest and warmest gratitude.
