Neto Hernandez was born January 5, 1972, to Rachael Soto Hernandez and Gonzalo Hernandez in Las Cruces, NM. Neto was born a fighter and died a fighter. In every sense of the word, Neto was the true definition. In 2018 Neto was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma and the doctors gave him 22 months to live. In true fashion, Neto fought. Neto coded multiple times and doctors told us multiple times even if brought back his mind would not be there. A challenge? Neto was there for it. He fought and came back every time, and every time his wife, children and grandchildren were his main priority. He loved being a grandpa. Waking up early going to the bakery, going fishing, finding yard sales, heading to the swap meet, Neto was not a person that just liked to sit. Even when the cancer got so bad, they had to amputate his leg, there he was in his wheelchair everywhere his wife could try to take him. Neto battled long and hard until the Lord called him home on October 9, 2022, while at home with his wife, daughters, and grandchildren. Neto is survived by his wife, Frances Hernandez, his brothers, Hector, Robert, Eduardo, and Henry, his daughters, Audrey Meza, Dionne, Villa, JoVanna Diaz, Tabitha Diaz and Idrena Hernandez, his bundle of grandchildren that adored him. (Alyssa, Vanessa, Jolie, Aubri, Darryl, Breanna, Anayah, Isabell, Kaylynn, Sophia, Hunter, Adelene, and Salem), and countless nephews, nieces, and cousins that he adored.
