Ernesto Morales, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away on September 2, 2024, in Tucson, Arizona, at the age of 67. Born on November 30, 1956, in Cananea, Sonora, Mexico, Ernesto's journey through life was marked by hard work, dedication, an unwavering love for his family.

From a young age, Ernesto exhibited a strong work ethic, diving into the mining industry right after high school before eventually transitioning to a successful career as an electrician. His ability to adapt and excel in various fields truly reflected his industrious spirit.

Known for his boisterous personality, Ernesto was a fun-loving and outgoing individual who thrived in the company of others. He had a remarkable ability to connect with people, fostering friendships wherever he went. He was a devoted family man who found joy in being busy, whether working or spending quality time with his loved ones. His selflessness and caring nature made a profound impact on everyone around him.

Ernesto had many hobbies and interests that brought him joy. He loved fishing and camping, often sharing these experiences with family and friends. His passion for singing and dancing enriched gatherings, reminding those fortunate enough to know him of the importance of joy and celebration. Additionally, he was known for his skills as both a mechanic and an electrician, further showcasing his versatility and craft.

Ernesto took immense pride in his role as a grandfather, often referred to as Tata, which was the first word spoken by many of his beloved grandchildren. His legacy will undoubtedly live on through the many lives he touched. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Patricia Morales; children, Michelle Morales (Miguel Robles), Elizabeth Valenzuela (Manuel Valenzuela), Ernesto Morales, Jr. (Lea Hughes), and Stephanie Lancaster (Eric Lancaster); and grandchildren, Christopher, Sirena, Manny Jr., Adrien, Belle Marie, Alex, Bree, Diego, Elianna, Ignacio, and Gabriela. He also leaves behind his siblings, George, Anna, Arnulfo Jr., Sergio, Jaime, and Elvia, alongside many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Ernesto was preceded in death by his parents, Arnulfo and Michaela Morales.

A visitation will be held in his honor on September 6, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Martinez Funeral Chapels - Tucson with a Rosary recited at 12:00 PM. All who knew him are invited to pay their respects and celebrate a life well-lived.

Ernesto Morales will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those he loved and who loved him.
