Eva Valencia Galaz

Eva Valencia Galaz, 82 of Tucson, Arizona entered into Heaven on Wednesday, April 20th 2022. She is survived by her sons; Frank Jr. (Doreen) Galaz, Alex (Andrea) Galaz. Daughters; Monica (Arturo) and Jessica Galaz. She is proceeded in death by Husband Frank Galaz Sr. and Daughter Carmen L Galaz. Eva was born in Tucson, AZ on March 16th 1940. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. As a young girl, she quit school after finishing 8th grade to provide financial assistance to her family by working in the cotton fields. Throughout the year’s she had many occupations; seamstress, housemaid and caregiver to name a few. After the death of her husband, she raised six kids on her own. While working three jobs she would also make additional income by selling tamales and tortillas. Although times were difficult, she always provided family and friends with a place to stay and food to eat. She enjoyed camping and hunting with her grandchildren also spending time with family. One of her favorite past times was telling stories of her struggles and experiences. Although she is gone, her memory and legacy will live forever.
