Evelyn Martinez Guzman

We announce the passing of a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Evelyn Martinez Guzman. She died peacefully on Saturday, April 4, 2020. She is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years; George Guzman, son; Christopher Guzman, daughters; April Guzman and Alicia Nunez, sister; Rita Martinez, brothers; Bobby, Richard and Arturo Martinez, grandchildren; Mario Verdugo, Marisa Verdugo, Aritza Nunez, Christopher Guzman, Aria Nunez, Santino Guzman and Anthony Nunez.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Santos and Alicia Martinez, brothers, Gilbert, Michael, Arnold, Manny and Ralph; sister, Nellie Martinez.

Evelyn was a wonderful person with a heart of gold. Always ready to help anyone in their time of need. She is loved and missed by many family members, friends and loved ones.The memories she left us will be held close to our hearts forever. Evelyn's greatest wish was for her children, grandchildren, family and friends to know that she loved them with all her heart, that family is important and that they should always stay together. Evelyn was the epitome of unconditional love, mercy and grace. The strength of her love will continue to grow, heal and strengthen those who mourn her, miss her and need her.

The services will be limited to a number of people due to the Covid-19 policies set forth by local government.  We recommend that children, elderly and those that are sick please stay home.  This policy will be strictly enforced.  We will provide an online viewing option for the funeral services as well as a Memorial Service celebrating her beautiful life at a later date.  Any questions may be directed at her daughter April Guzman.  Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation during this time.
