Fernando Aros Pina,65 born in Casa Grande AZ passed away peacefully Wednesday Dec, 16 2020. Preceded in death by his parents Albert & Rita Pina. Sisters Mage, Judy, Irene and Terry. Brothers Albert & Patrick. Father in law Reuben F. Islas. Very much in love with his wife Terry of 40 wonderful years. They brought their four beautiful children into the world together, Crystal, Fernando Jr, Gabriel and Sara. He was blessed with seven amazing grandchildren Reuben, Roman, Angel, Reyna, Jaxon, Fernando III and Titan, which were his world because Fernando was a devoted family man. He coached his sons, niece and nephews in Pop Warner Football for many years. He believed strongly in the his faith with the Lord our God. He had a presence about him that brought the love and life out of everyone. He was respected by many and loved by all. He always had a shoulder to cry on when someone was in need and was willing to listen. He was an amazing father and teacher. He taught his children to love and respect one another. He always said family comes first and we take care of each other.

He was a Eucharistic Minister and also taught catechism for 20 years at St. Margaret's Catholic Church in Tucson, AZ where he was a mentor to many people. When other teachers needed help controlling the children in their class they would mention Fernando's name and they would straightened right up. He was also in charge of the altar servers for 15 years. He taught them about their faith and respect for God as well as their family. He was very well liked by all the church staff. He was devoted to working the church fiestas in the Altar Servers booth. He was committed to everything he did. Fernando worked for the Department of Corrections working with young boys under the age of 18. He loved working there. For 5 years he worked at the Columbus House on Prince Road. For the next 25 years he ran the night crew at Fry's Food Store. He started working at Amphi High School as a security guard so his son Gabe could play football with his cousins. He was a mentor to many students even if he caught them ditching. They sure got a good scolding and never ditched again.

Fernando will forever hold a special place in so many peoples hearts. He was a very kind and humble man. We know you will be rejoicing with the Lord and the Blessed Mother. You will be greatly missed and will always be remembered, especially by your family. One of his favorite quotes was: Spare the Rod Spoil The Children. WE LOVE YOU! GOD BLESS YOU! We love You Dad. he also said, God First Family second and then the Pittsburgh Steelers!!
