Florencio Gonzales Mitchell

Florencio Gonzales Mitchell, a beloved member of the Tucson community, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2023, at his home in Tucson, AZ. He was born on June 23, 1928, in Tucson, where he lived his entire life.

Florencio was a pillar of strength to those who knew him. He will be missed by his children, grandchildren, and other extended family members.

Florencio served his country with honor as a member of the United States Air Force. He bravely defended the values he held dear and ensured the safety and freedom of his fellow citizens. Florencio's commitment to duty exemplified his unwavering dedication to serving others.

A memorial service will be held on October 11, 2023, at Martinez Funeral Chapels in Tucson. The service will begin at 2:00 PM and will be followed by a Rosary at 2:30 PM. Close friends and family are invited to join together to pay their respects and celebrate Florencio's remarkable life.
