Francisco Robles Contreras "Pancho" passed away at age 80, on December 19,2022, in Tucson, AZ , surrounded by his loving family. Francisco was born October 10,1942 in Coyame, Chihuahua, Mexico. He came to the United States at a very young age, working in the fields in California. After coming to Tucson, he met and married Rosa Elena Sagarnaga; they were married 61 years. Pancho took up roofing, a profession he spent over 30 years working at to provide for his family. Pancho enjoyed music and singing with his brothers and cousins. In his early 50's, he played softball with his sons and their friends (toda la bola) and with fellow seniors. He could often be found doing mechanic work on his vehicle or any family or friend's vehicles. He was always ready and willing to lend a hand. After falling ill to diabetes and renal failure, he faced the adversity head on and was never one to complain. He loved his family and found joy in their successes. He will be remembered for his great ability to recall names, events and locations. His attitude of putting his life in God's hands without complaint is an example to us all as we face the challenges and joys of life.
