Fredrick John Baca, affectionately known as Fred or Freddy, was a beacon of light whose kindness and generosity touched the lives of many. He passed away on February 13, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion that will forever be cherished. Born July 13, 1966, in Palm Springs, California, Fred spent his life embodying the values of selflessness and care for others. As a single father to four daughters, Eva, Emily, Erica, and Jessica, he dedicated himself wholeheartedly to providing for his family and ensuring their happiness.
Fred's joy stemmed from seeing the smiles on the faces of his family and friends. He had an infectious laugh and a positive outlook on life that left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. Whether it was through his work as a Fiberglass Fabricator or his role as "Mr. Fix It," Fred's willingness to help others and share his knowledge was unmatched.
His hobbies ranged from following Formula One racing to passionately supporting the Steelers as their number one fan. Fred found solace in playing video games, listening to rock music, fixing cars, and strumming his guitar – activities that brought him moments of peace and joy.
In addition to his immediate family, Fred is survived by his beloved grandchildren; Jenevi, Alfredo Jr., Leilani, Carlos Jr., and Lianette. He is also remembered by his brother, Gabriel Juarez along with numerous other family members and friends who held a special place in his heart.
Fred's presence illuminated the lives of those around him despite carrying personal burdens with unwavering strength. His simple demeanor and humble nature never failed to inspire others. To many, he was an extraordinary individual who would go above and beyond to offer support without expecting anything in return.
Services for Fred will be at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located on 105 N Norton Ave, Tucson, AZ 85719 on March 4, 2024, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Following this gathering, a burial service will be held at Binghampton Cemetery starting at 1:00 pm.
