Gilbert Moreno Mendoza, 85, earned his wings on May 24th, 2023 in Tucson, Arizona. He was born to Gilbert and Cruz Mendoza on November 3rd, 1937 in Bisbee, Arizona. Gilbert was a fun-loving family man who loved to dance and had a great sense of humor. Gilbert worked for over 50 years at Tucson Blueprint. He was dedicated to his work and took great pride in it. Gilbert's hard work and commitment to his job will not be forgotten. He has physically left but will live forever in the hearts of all those he touched.
Gilbert is survived by his wife Jessie Mendoza, and his children, Rhonda Soto and Gilbert John (Maritza) Mendoza. He is also survived by siblings, Raymond Mendoza (Terry+), Louis (Adela) Mendoza, Lydia (Joe) Amparano, Victor (Irene) Mendoza, and Nadine (Charlie) Preciado. Additionally, he is survived by his grandchildren, Mario, Marcos, Isreal, Alexia, Jaylynn, and Bailey. Gilbert was predeceased by his parents, Gilbert and Cruz Mendoza, and his brothers Ronald and Robert Mendoza.
