Gloria Pearl Markham

Gloria Pearl Markham Martinez,69, was called to be with the Lord on May 29, 2018 in Tucson, Arizona.  Gloria was born in Nogales, Arizona on February 10, 1949  and at a very young age started working for Mountain Bell.  She continued to work for different Communication companies during her career until she retired from Century Link after 34 years of service as an administrator.  After she retired, she went off to work for the Lord at her church.  She was president of the Legion of Mary for many years.  She traveled around the world with family and friends.  Gloria was a very loving person and was always ready to lend a hand to her family, friends and the less fortunate in our community.  She was preceded in death by her parents Francisco R. Martinez and Nellie Y. Castillo.  She leaves behind one sister, 3 brothers, ex-husband, other family members and many close friends.  She will be dearly missed, She is home now. 

A memorial is scheduled at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church on June 9, 2018 at 10:30 am.  A mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Services entrusted to Martinez Funeral Chapels - Tucson.
