Joe H. Gonzales

Joe H. Gonzales 87, was surrounded by loved ones with comfort, prayers and music as he peacefully went on his journey into eternal life where he joined his love of his life, his wife, Cecilia P. Gonzales who also entered into eternal life, 4 months ago. They were inseparable. Life for Joe was not the same without her. Joe was born in Phoenix, AZ raised in Yuma, Jerome and then Tucson, AZ.  Preceded in death by his wife, Cecilia P. Gonzales; parents, Jose V. and Josephina H. Gonzales; brothers, Francisco X., Miguel H., Juan H. and Carlos H. Gonzales; sisters, Margarita H. Gonzales and Lydia Irene G. Fimbres; grandchildren, Bernadette Gonzales, Michael Maldonado and Gabriel Gonzales and great-grandson, Philip Gonzales lll.

Survived by his children; Fernando Gonzales, Patricia Gonzales, William (Yolie) Gonzales, Cindy (Rebel) Maldonado and Philip Gonzales, Sr.; 14 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, many family members, Godchildren, nephews, nieces and friends. Joe worked hard as a butcher, trucker and miner.  Joe's passion was playing his guitar, singing and dancing with his wife and going to Mass. He loved being surrounded by his family-taking them on road trips and amusement parks. He went above and beyond to help those in need whenever possible. Joe will be truly missed and loved by many.
