Guadalupe Chacon Alfaro, wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away in her home in Tucson, Arizona on December 15, 2023, surrounded by her family; she was 68 years of age. She was born on January 27, 1955, in Sisoguichi, Chihuahua Mexico. She will be dearly missed and remembered for her selflessness and all-giving love.
Known as Lupe, she enjoyed singing, laughing, and being in the company of her friends and family. Whenever possible she enjoyed traveling and making fond memories. There was no greater treat than being near her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. It was in her nature to care and take care of those who needed the most without hesitation. Lupe was the kind of person who always had to ensure you ate; and even if you weren’t hungry, she would still make certain you had something to eat before leaving her home.
She cared deeply and passionately. She was strong and courageous even in her final days, a testament to the warrior she was. She was beautiful, and it saddens us that she will no longer be with us. She will be remembered and honored by all who knew her. We love you forever until we meet again; you’ll always be in our hearts.
Lupe is survived by her loving husband Mario Alfaro, sons; Jose Millan and Mario Alfaro, daughters; Elena Millan, Erla Alfaro, Karina Johnson, Isamar Alfaro, Yadira Alfaro, and Claudia Alfaro, sister; Conception Chacon. She also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she adored with all her heart.
