He is survived by his son, Hector M Chavez Jr. (Vanessa) and daughter, Bania Hecht (Kevin); Grandchildren: Anthony Hecht, Camille Hecht, Brian Chavez and Isaih Chavez; brothers: Jorge Chavez, Jesus Chavez and Jose Luis Chavez; sisters, Lourdes Medina, Maria Chavez and Diana Chavez. Preceded in death by his wife, Carmen Chavez, brothers, Daniel Chavez and Marco Chavez, and parents, Daniel and Juanita Chavez.
