Hector Jacquez Ochoa, 67, avid hunter, outdoorsman, veteran and retired concrete finisher in Tucson, AZ for 38 years, peacefully passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019 surrounded by his family and friends. Beloved husband of 45 years to his wife Lydia.
Loving father of Anthony (Cindy), Katrina, and Hector “JR”.
Brother of Adelia (Joe), Miguel "Micky" (Chris), Molly (Louie), Eddie (Sandy), Liz, Grace, Joe and Armando (Terry).
Proud grandfather of Glen, Lidiana “Lily”(Matthew), Michaelhector (Jasmine), Hector Angel, Ace and Jett.
Even prouder Great Grandfather of Amya and Ella.
Preceded in death by his parents Herminia J Ochoa and Jose Miguel Ochoa.
He was a strong, hard working, and proud man of his many accomplishments. His highest honor was the building of his house with his bare hands along with family and friends by his side. He enjoyed having a good carne asada, sitting around a camp fire, listening to his Tejano music having a beer and telling stories to all at his ranch. He was the happiest when he was in the mountains with his hunting buddies doing what he loved. You could always count on a good laugh being around him. He was very generous with what little he had. A man as humble and loving as Hector will always be remembered by those of us who knew him and loved him. Although we will miss him, his smile, his pranks, his love, we take consolation in the good feelings of our memories.
