Hector C. Saucedo, Sr., a beloved father, grandfather and brother, passed away on May 24 2024, in his hometown of Tucson, Arizona. He was born on June 16, 1946, in Tucson, where he also attended Pueblo High School. Hector was known for his love of life and his spirited; he brought laughter and joy to all those him with his playful sense of humor.
Aside from his successful career as a landscaper, Hector found great joy in various hobbies and interests. He was an avid player of dominoes, cards, and pool. Additionally, he was a passionate sports fan who wholeheartedly supported his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers.
One of Hector's proudest accomplishments was his loving family. He is survived by his children; Hector M. Saucedo, Jr. and Victor Saucedo; grandchildren, Tyesha Saucedo and Aisha Saucedo; as well as his great-grandchild Zeya Watson. He is also survived by his siblings, Art and Stella, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will cherish his memory.
A Memorial Service to honor and celebrate the life of Hector C. Saucedo, Sr. will be held on June 7, 2024, at Martinez Funeral Chapels in Tucson. The service will begin at 1:00 PM and conclude at 3:00 PM.
Hector will be fondly remembered for his kind heart, infectious laughter, and zest for life. He has left behind a legacy of love and laughter that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
