Helen L. Downing

November 30, 1921 — March 17, 2019

With family at her side in Tumacacori, AZ, Helen L. Downing, 97, entered her Heavenly home on Sunday, March 17, 2019. Born November 30, 1921 to Matthew and Wealthy Ungren in Norton, Kansas. She is survived by brother Robert Ungren (Millie); sister-in-law Lynda Ungren; daughter Jo Ann Gastelum (James J); granddaughter, Elizabeth Roush (Daniel); great-grandsons, William Roush (Tahnee), Austin Roush (Lauren), Andrew Roush (fiancé Caitlyn) and Matthew Roush (Jocelynn); great-great-grandchildren, Rowan Ella Roush, Michael Boaz Roush and awaiting the arrival of Hayden Rose Roush; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Helen's consecrated life full of testimonies and her God-given musical talents blessed and inspired thousands. Her last breath on earth was her first breath "Beyond the Curtain of Time". One of her favorite songs...."I Don't Regret a Mile I Have Traveled for The Lord."

A memorial service will be held in Tucson, Arizona at the Northside Fellowship Church on April 5th at 4 pm.
