Isabel O. Munoz

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Isabel Ochoa Munoz, 84, joined the Lord on April 9th, 2018 where she is reunited with all the family & friends who have departed.  She was the wife of Jose Facio Munoz and shared 68 years of marriage together.

Born in Tucson, AZ, she was the daughter of Manuel & Margarita Ochoa. She attended Los Angeles Trade Tech where she earned her Associate of Science Degree in 1990 and worked in Graphic Printing for 17 years.

She belonged to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Parish where she loved to sing at Mass and always made us kids wear our Sunday best.

Some of her travels included Hawaii, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico (USA), Acapulco, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán, Taxco, Ensenada and Cananea (Mexico) along with various road trips throughout the United States. There was also RV Camping done annually, with many of their adventures in the Eastern Sierra Mountains. In her past time she enjoyed reading, sewing, and baking. She was such a talented lady and will be remembered for her love of knowledge, her impeccable strength, her wisdom and all her perseverance through a life of various experiences.

She is survived by husband, Jose F. Munoz; children; Olga M. Pickering and Annette M. McCroy (Joe); grandchildren; Joseph M. Munoz (Chelsea), Gary D. Pickering (Desiree), Louis M. Lopez (Brieanne), Monique M. Conway (Kyle), Ashley J. Villarruel, Matthew D. Villarruel, Andrew J. Munoz and Alexis R. Villarruel. She will also be sorely missed by her nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by, Michael Daniel Munoz (son) 1956, Monica Dawn M. Gutierrez (granddaughter) 2010, and J. Joseph O. Munoz (son) 2012.
