Jaime B. Rivera, 48, born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, passed away unexpectedly on December 18th, 2024 after a tragic and devastating accident.
Jaime, affectionately known to all as Chapo, was born on March 9th, 1976 to his loving parents in Tucson Arizona. Chapo had a childhood surrounded by family and friends, occupying his time with athletics and excelled in school from an early age. He earned a second degree black belt in taekwondo and played high school football and youth basketball before graduating from Sunnyside High School. Chapo and his high school sweetheart Veronica went on to have two beautiful daughters, his angels.
He is survived by a big family who miss him dearly, his daughters Lynessa and Lyssenia, his father Jimmy, mother Maria, his five siblings Jimmy (Trisha), Eugene, Racheal, Gilbert and Christopher, 4 nieces, 3 nephews and his many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Chapo was always a loving and gentle father, a caring and protective brother, and a respectful and attentive son. Although he had his fair share of challenges and struggles, he was resilient and always kept trying. We loved him dearly, miss him greatly and will never forget him.
Services will be held at Martinez Funeral Chapels on Saturday, January 18th between the hours of 12:00pm and 2:00pm.
