Jeffrey  Anthony "Andy"  Plank, a beloved member of the Tucson community, has sadly passed away on January 23rd, 2024. He was born on October 19th, 1981, in Tucson, Arizona. Andy was a caring individual with a big heart and an infectious laughter that brightened the lives of those around him.

Andy spent many fulfilling years working at the Tucson Airport, where he would have the opportunity to meet many celebrities and other travelers alike. He was  known for his hard work and dedication.

After graduating from Pueblo High School, Andy embarked on a journey full of love, laughter, and cherished memories. He had an incredible zest for life and lived each day to the fullest. Among his many hobbies and interests, Andy enjoyed cooking and was renowned for his mouth-watering menudo, pozole and tamales. His culinary skills brought joy to family gatherings and left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to taste his creations.

In addition to his culinary talents, Andy possessed a creative spirit that shone through in everything he did. Whether it was coming up with unique dance moves or making others laugh with his quick wit, he had a knack for brightening any room he entered. He was truly a gentle giant who bestowed warm hugs and found solace in spreading happiness.

Andy took great pride in being a father to his two sons, Marcos Plank and Jakob Madrid. They were the source of his greatest accomplishments and provided him with endless love and fulfillment. He leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love that will forever guide them in their lives.

Outside of work and fatherhood, Andy had a great passion for sports. He enthusiastically cheered for the Dallas Cowboys and LA Dodgers, always bringing an element of excitement to game days.

The memory of Andy will live on through the cherished moments shared by all those fortunate enough to have known him. Memories of Andy doing huge cannon balls in the pool, splashing everyone and filling the air with laughter, will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his loved ones.

Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Andy's life at Martinez Funeral Chapels in Tucson. A visitation will take place on February 2nd, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM with a Rosary at 3:00 PM.
