John Leland Cummings

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of John Leland Cummings on January 30, 2024. John was born in Erie, PA on October 18, 1950, to Charles and Alice Smith.  He is survived by beloved family members, Nancy Cummings, Dora LeMar and Joseph Selby; his brothers, Charles and James; sisters Kathy, Gail and Lynne and many nieces and nephew.  John moved to Tucson in 1993 and was employed by the VA Hospital until his retirement.  He was a talented musician and songwriter. He proudly served his country in Vietnam.  He will be greatly missed, by his friends and family.
