Jorge Armando Barnett, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away on December 11, 2023. He was born on December 30, 1948, to Geronimo Barnett and Ninfa Barnett.
Jorge was known for his welcoming smile and great spirits. His sense of humor brought joy and laughter to everyone around him. He had a zest for life and made sure to spread happiness wherever he went.
One of Jorge's favorite hobbies was playing the lottery. He loved the thrill of anticipation and the possibility of hitting it big. He also had a deep passion for music, enjoying various genres that spoke to his soul. When he wasn't listening to music or trying his luck with the lottery, he would often be found watching novelas and western movies, immersing himself in captivating stories.
Jorge had a particular fondness for old trucks. Their rugged beauty appealed to him, and he would spend hours admiring their craftsmanship and imagining the adventures had seen throughout the years.
Above all else, Jorge held family close to his. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Frances M. Barnett and caring father to his children Jorge Armando Barnett Jr. and Pete Anthony Barnett and daughter in law Daniela Rios, sons and daughters inlaws; Roman Aguilar, Eric Rada, Carlos Pena, Alyssa Acosta and Merlinda Tapia, His love extended beyond immediate family to include his grandchildren Yasmin Barnett, Daiquari Barnett Pena, Jorge Armando Barnett lll, Alize M. Barnett, Isaish E. C. Barnett; as well as great-grandchildren: Aden Gallego, Eric Rada, Eli Rada, Xiomara Ramos, Cataleya Ramos, Mariana Ramos, and Ariella Pena, Karsyn grace Barnett, Jorge Armando Barnett lV. Proceeded in death by his daughters, Laura Patricia Barnett and Maria De Carmen Barnett "Susuki"
J's passing leaves a void in the lives of his loved ones but also cherished that will be held close forever. He is survived by his brother Jesus Geron Barnett; sisters Lydia Mercado, Carmen Barnett, and Alma Barnett.
Jorge Armando Barnett will be remembered his kind-hearted nature, his infectious laughter, and his unwavering love for his family. He leaves behind a legacy filled with joy, love, and a spirit that can never be forgotten.
May he rest in eternal peace.
