Joseph "Jojo" Michael Montoya, 34, passed away unexpectedly and entered the Gates of Heaven on Tuesday, June 16, 2020. He was a loving, very helpful and caring of everyone he crossed paths with. His legacy will be well remembered by his kindness and caring heart. Encountering Jojo was like encountering an angel, a fun and lively filled angel. He was known as a jokester and a neat freak. He was very athletic growing up. He loved to swim in his youth, as well as play baseball, basketball and football. In his adulthood, he enjoyed bowling and shooting pool. He will forever be remembered by his love for his family and friends, Raiders football team, movies, and many endless activities. Jojo would want all of his loved ones, family and friends included, to remember him by loving and taking care of each other, to be happy that he is now with Our Father being an angel to all of his loved ones. He would want us to trust God with all their heart, soul and minds. He is survived by his parents, Bennie and Gloria Montoya; brothers, Benjamin Montoya and Adrian Montoya; paternal grandmother, Mary Montoya; son, Joseph Montoya, Jr; fiance, Alejandra Gomez; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.*
*The family has requested that everyone in attendance wear a mask and practice social distancing. They will also have a representative taking everyone's temperature prior to entering.
